ON STAGE STUDIOS strives for excellence in the performing arts by nurturing students and building self confidence in performance and everyday life. On Stage Studios is dynamic, with high-energy fun classes taught by selected experienced teachers in a friendly and encouraging environment. Our aim is to offer high quality performing arts tuition at a nominal cost.

Carly O’Rourke is the principal teacher and owner of the studio. Carly founded the studio in 2005 and has developed it into one of southern Sydney’s leading multi skilled training centres for young dancers, singers and performers. The studio operates 6 days per week and is fully equipped with a sprung dance floor, wall mirrors, ballet barres, Acromat, drama/singing room, professional sound/microphone/mixing systems and parent area. There is also plenty of parking.

Carly is an experienced singer/dancer/choreographer having performed in the stage musical Shout! around Australia, the opening ceremony of the Sydney Olympics and has her own cabaret club show. Carly is a true entertainer and enjoys teaching students and giving them the opportunity to express their personalities and abilities in a confident manner ‘ON STAGE’.

The studio offers classes in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Acrobatics, Group Singing, Private Lessons - Singing & Dance and Drama with ages from 2 to adult, beginners to advanced, take it for a hobby, fitness or challenge yourself to reach your full potential. We also offer morning pre-schooler classes with a dance program especially suited for children between the age of 2-5 years.

The studio also offers the opportunity for students to perform in local eisteddfods, talent quests and with the ‘On Stage Kids’ Show Group performing at the Royal Easter Show and throughout the year at various venues around southern Sydney.

On Stage Kids were invited by the Disney Corporation USA and performed at Disneyland & California Adventure Park in 2008.

The Annual Concert (November) is a highlight with every student performing for their family and friends in their chosen disciplines - this truly is an event not to be missed. As a finale each student is rewarded with either a trophy or medallion.

There are open classes at the end of each term where parents are welcome to watch their child’s progress. We also pride ourselves on student health and safety to ensure the safe wellbeing of every student whilst attending classes. Our fees are very modest and discounts are available for more than one family participant and the number of weekly classes taken. • On Stage Studios has teamed up with a television, advertising, film and theatrical agency, T&E Management.

Following auditions held in past years a number of students were selected for television, advertising (commercials), film and theatrical opportunities via the agency. Emma Jane Hyland the co-founder of T&E Management said; "she is delighted to form a relationship with On Stage Studios and its Principal, Carly O'Rourke and to help guide selected students to reach their performance potential professionally." Carly, who has known Emma for many years through the performing arts industry, said; "she is very proud and excited that a number of her students were selected at the initial audition. This ties in with On Stage Studios ultimate aim to give students more opportunities to express their personalities and for performance development." T&E Management already has a high success rate and only accepts students through a set audition process and who they believe are most likely to gain work in the television, advertising, film and theatre industry.
